Participation Street Theatre

Workshops, Residencies and Collaborative Projects

Participation is important to us. We love getting people involved in what we do.

We visit Schools, Colleges, Universities, Arts Centres, and many other establishments to run our unique, dynamic workshops in Street Theatre. Alternatively you can bring people to our HQ and you get a chance to play with our costumes!

We offer half day or full day engagements, and we can tailor the workshops to your specifications.

We also provide more advanced training at Universities and Drama schools, institutions we currently teach at include Guildford School of Acting.

We involve ourselves with educational and community organisations, providing longer residences and creating larger pieces of work. These have included walkabout performances and street happenings as well as larger performances.

One project called “Out Of The Shadows” we created using participants from Bath DHI, Theatre Royal Engage, Bath Fringe and our own professional performers; what resulted was an outstanding interactive walkabout performance investigating the history of poverty in one of the richest countries.

Our most recent project ‘Roads to Recovery’ has involved working with local school  and youth groups to explore the stories and people behind Bath’s First World War Hospitals.
