There have always been rumours of Shakespeare’s early ‘lost’ plays, but the Natural Theatre Company have…ahem… unearthed the first draft and only known copy of Shakespeare’s wonderful comedy: ‘The Moor The Merrier’. This unpublished play features early sketches of his most iconic characters, first drafts of famous scenes, and just a little bit of nonsense! The plot is uncertain. The characters sketchy. The verse is naive. However, the piece has one resounding quality over the rest of his work: its very short!
